From Chelsea's first meeting with you at the Masorti Day, she knew she wanted to design a tallit with you.  During our first meeting together at your house when we went through some of the special pieces of clothing from Chelsea's childhood and Chelsea made the decision that she wanted to use the silks from your collection, it felt like the beginning of the Bat Mitzvah process of growing and becoming an independent-minded Jewish adult.

Chelsea's Tallit, the process of designing it with you, and tying the tzitzit was one of the highlights of Chelsea's bat mitzvah.

On the Friday, Chelsea, her three grandmothers, mother, and sister sat together and shared our love for Chelsea through the tying of the tzitzit and talking about how special Chelsea is and our wishes for her future.

It was a really magical way to start her Bat Mitzvah, removed all the stress from the planning and preparation, and allowed us to begin savouring every minute of what was a truly wonderful weekend.

I had the good fortune of discovering Dalia when I was looking to give my daughter a meaningful gift for her bat mitzvah. Dalia showed Millie and I how to tie the tzizit and encouraged us to think about poignant things in our lives and thoughts for the future.

I had no idea that this would be such a moving experience for my daughter and I.

The resulting tallit was beautiful and full of sentiment. When I saw Millie wearing it on the bimah for her Bat mitzvah I was moved by the love and care that had gone into it by Dalia.

The concept of hiddur mitzvah - making a mitzvah as beautiful as possible - inspired us to commission a tallit from Dalia.

The resulting tallit is gorgeous - it features Rosa’s signature colours and she feels totally happy wearing it.

We particularly enjoyed the thoughtful conversations we had whilst tying the tzitzit with Dalia in the run-up to the big day.

The experience of having an artisan tallit made was so incredibly special and personal. From initially meeting with Dalia to discuss fabrics, colours and details for the design, to being guided through how to tie and discussing our hopes and wishes to be woven into the tallit as we tied.

It was a warm, personal and very special process that was so much more special and meaningful than simply going and choosing a tallit would have been.

It was such a special experience working with Dalia to design Rebekah's and Alex's tallitot, and tying the tzitzit with their grandparents.

The opportunity to sit together as a family and take a moment of stillness and calm before the Bnei Mitzvot to tie the tzitzit was really precious, lovely and memorable.

It was incredibly emotional to see all of the thought, the relationships, the memories, the love and good wishes and support for them which their tallitot represented.
